Lori Lindberg,a lecturer in the Master of Archives and Records Administration (MARA) degree and the archives specialization in the Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree at San Jose State University's School of Library and Information Science.  Along with her work for SJSU, Lori has taught courses in digital preservation and archival science at the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of Wisconsin, Madison, as well as educational lectures and workshops for many professional organizations and associations, including ARMA International and the National Association of Law Libraries.  In addition to her academic work, Lori is an archival consultant having work relationships with entities large and small, public and private, including the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, California State Parks, and the State of California Department of Industrial Relations. She is a member of the Society of California Archivists, the Academy of Certified Archivists, ARMA International and most actively with the Society of American Archivists (SAA), where she has served on numerous award committees and as Chair of the Archival Educators Roundtable.

How to Build a Strategic Plan to Support RM Governance 

Presented By: Dr Patricia Franks

Dr. Patricia C. Franks is an associate professor in the School of Library and Information Science at San Jose State University. She is also program coordinator for the Master of Archives and Records Administration degree and course cluster coordinator for archives and records management courses in the Master of Library and Information Science degree. She is a recent recipient of a California State University grant to explore virtual internship opportunities for students pursuing careers in archives and records management.  
Pat was the Project Leader for the 2011 ARMA/ANSI standard on the Implications of Collaborative, Web-based Technologies in Records Management. She is the author of a number of articles, including Understanding Web 2.0 and Challenges for the Records Manager.  Her most recent research project resulted in a report for the IBM Center for the Business of Government titled How Federal Agencies Can Effectively Manage Records Created Using New Social Media Tools. And she is currently team lead on the ARMA International guideline, Using Social Media in Organizations, slated for publication in summer 2012.
