Records Manager - Los Angeles Unified School District
LAUSD is seeking a highly qualified individual with considerable experience in managing records for a large organization to manage, plan, and coordinate the District’s comprehensive records management function.  Responsibilities of this position include:
 
• Overseeing the physical storage of millions of documents stored District-wide
• Safeguarding the confidentiality and privileges of these documents
• Overseeing hardcopy and electronic document destruction
• Preparing guidelines, protocols, and metrics for reporting on the implementation and execution of the policies related to document and retention policies
 
• Acting as the primary liaison with other divisions, executive staff, and the Board regarding records retention and destruction


Compliance/Records and Information Management

This position is part of the Corporate Compliance team.  It provides service and supports the goals and initiatives of all other divisions throughout the company and its subsidiaries.Manage the design, development, and implementation of an effective company-wide information management program.  Mitigate the business, legal, and compliance risks associated with retaining records, regardless of media type, in the regular course of business.

Below are the Minimum Requirements for the position:
1.  Bachelor's degree REQUIRED.
2.  Minimum of 7 years working in Compliance and Records Management REQUIRED.
3.  Hands-on experience with Electronic Content, Information Management, Records Retention technologies and    practices is REQUIRED.
4.  Experience in project management, process analysis, problem solving, and best practices in a professional and compliance focused environment.
5.  Experience with litigation related documentation, identification, preservation, and production.
6.  Proven track record of successfully implementing RIM/ECM programs through team work and influence without a direct-reporting staff.

Records Retention Schedules Project Lead- Requisition Number 20110567

The Information Technology Services (ITS) Department at the University of California Office of the President (UCOP) seeks a Records Retention Schedules Project Lead to develop and implement a major project to update the University of California records retention and disposition schedules. The position will work closely with campus records managers to develop and conduct the project and to ensure that University records retention requirements are aligned with current laws and best practices in records management. This is a challenging opportunity for a records management or project management professional to significantly advance records management practices across the University. The ability to work in a decentralized environment and develop consensus will be key to achieving success.
